History
The Consortium for Languages at Risk (CLR) is an organization that works with indigenous communities to preserve and revitalize endangered languages. CLR is a powerful voice working to help indigenous communities build a lasting foundation for language education and practice. CLR supports endangered indigenous language communities by increasing their access to funding, technical assistance and public support.
The Consortium is part of The Language Conservancy (TLC). Since 2005, TLC has worked with indigenous communities to promote best practices and culturally relevant solutions to revitalize languages around the world.
